Criminal record checks in Canada, done online
SafeHire runs a Canadian criminal record check without a trip to the police station. You fill in a short form and verify your ID. Bridgewater Police Service then searches your name and date of birth in the RCMP's Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) database, and your results arrive by email.
What the check shows
Criminal convictions in Canada that haven't been pardoned, as of the search date. It doesn't include youth records, outstanding charges or pardoned convictions. It's a name-based check, not a fingerprint check.
What it costs

When you need a different check
A vulnerable sector check, for work with children or vulnerable people, can only be done by your local police. A fingerprint-based RCMP certified check is a separate process.
