Terms of Service

By accessing and using SafeHire Limited's services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

SafeHire Limited provides criminal record check services. Checks are performed by our screening provider, Certn (Canada) Inc., through a name-based search of the RCMP Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) database. Our services include:

• Standard criminal record checks (ready in minutes)
• Rush processing services for expedited results
• Digital delivery of results via email

Important limitations:

• SafeHire Limited checks cannot be used for vulnerable sector screening
• Results show only convictions without pardons as of the search date
• Not all organizations accept SafeHire Limited checks — verify requirements before ordering

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. By placing an order, you represent that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Use the service only for lawful purposes
• Not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Declare all relevant conviction information truthfully

• Standard Service: $64.99 CAD per check
• Rush Service: $74.99 CAD per check (includes $10.00 rush fee)

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By submitting payment information, you authorize us to charge the full amount. Prices are subject to change with notice.

Once your order is submitted and payment is confirmed:

• Standard orders are typically processed within minutes to hours
• Rush orders receive priority processing
• Processing times may vary based on RCMP database availability
• Results are delivered electronically to your registered email address
• You will receive a confirmation email when your check is complete

Due to the immediate nature of our service:

• No refunds are available once processing has begun
• Refunds may be issued if we are unable to complete your check due to technical errors on our part
• Rush service fees are non-refundable once processing begins

Results reflect the criminal record information held by the RCMP as of the date of the search. SafeHire Limited does not create, maintain or amend RCMP records and does not guarantee that the underlying RCMP data is complete or accurate. Results may not reflect convictions, pardons, record suspensions or corrections entered after the search date.

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian privacy laws, including PIPEDA. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data.

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on our website are owned by SafeHire Limited or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SafeHire Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service.

You agree to indemnify and hold SafeHire Limited harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our discretion, particularly in cases of suspected fraud, misuse, or violation of these terms.
